Normal wear happens.
Wear the piece. Enjoy it. Ordinary stains and reasonable wear are part of renting — we expect them and we handle them.
What's included
Professional cleaning is included with every rental. So are ordinary removable stains, light marks and the reasonable wear that comes from actually wearing something — a spilled drink, makeup on a collar, a loose thread.
Send the piece back as it is. We take it from there.
Please don't clean it yourself
Do not wash, dry clean, spot treat or attempt stain removal. Home treatment is the most common cause of permanent damage to delicate designer fabrics.
Careful steaming is fine unless an item's care instructions say otherwise.
Please don't alter it
No hemming, cutting, sewing or permanent alterations. Don't remove labels or use permanent adhesives, tape residue or safety pins that pierce the fabric.
Significant damage
Occasionally something goes beyond normal wear — a torn seam, a burn, a broken zip, a structural break. Where a piece can be professionally repaired or restored, you may be charged the reasonable repair or restoration cost.
Every case is reviewed by a person. Nothing is charged automatically.
Irreparable damage or loss
If a piece can't be restored, or is lost or never returned, the item's stated Replacement Value may apply. Replacement Value is set per item and is not the same as its original retail price.
Tell us early
If something happens, message us before your Return By date. Being upfront almost always leads to a better outcome than us discovering it at inspection.
