Keyholder Terms & Conditions

The COVABL Keyholder Program is an early-customer program available to eligible customers accepted by COVABL during the Keyholder launch period.

A Keyholder purchase is a one-time purchase. It is not a membership or subscription, and there are no recurring Keyholder fees.

Keyholder status is associated with your COVABL account and is intended to remain part of your account while the account remains in good standing.

COVABL may offer Keyholders benefits such as early access, previews, events, product drops, feedback opportunities, special communications, or other benefits from time to time. These additional benefits may evolve as COVABL grows and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

The price to become a Keyholder is $250.

Upon successful payment, the purchaser becomes eligible to receive $300 in COVABL credit as described below.

The $250 payment is a purchase of participation in the Keyholder Program and associated COVABL credit. It is not an investment in COVABL.

Becoming a Keyholder does not provide any ownership interest, equity, securities, voting rights, entitlement to profits, dividends, repayment, or other financial interest in COVABL.

Each Keyholder will receive a total of $300 in COVABL credit, consisting of $250 in purchased value corresponding to the Keyholder’s payment, and $50 in complimentary Keyholder bonus credit provided by COVABL.

The $300 Keyholder credit does not expire.

Credit will be associated with the Keyholder’s COVABL account and may be used once COVABL begins accepting eligible rental bookings.

Unused credit will remain available in the Keyholder’s account until used, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

Keyholder credit may be applied toward eligible COVABL rental charges.

Unless COVABL expressly states otherwise, credit may not be applied toward taxes, expedited or special delivery charges, courier surcharges, late fees, extension fees, damage charges, repair charges, replacement charges, lost-item charges, authorization holds, deposits, gift cards, or other charges arising from a rental.

Credit may be used over multiple rental transactions. A Keyholder is not required to use the entire balance in one transaction.

If a rental exceeds the available credit balance, the remaining amount must be paid using an accepted payment method.

Promotional offers may have separate restrictions regarding whether they can be combined with Keyholder credit.

Keyholder credit has no cash value except where cash redemption or another remedy is required by applicable law.

Keyholder status is personal to the individual who purchased the Keyholder spot and is associated with that individual’s COVABL account.

Keyholder status may not be sold, auctioned, transferred, or commercially resold without COVABL’s written permission.

Keyholder credit is likewise intended for use through the Keyholder’s account and may not be sold or transferred except where COVABL expressly permits it or applicable law requires otherwise.

Products displayed during the Keyholder preview period are intended to provide an indication of COVABL’s planned assortment.

Preview products are not guaranteed to be available when COVABL launches.

COVABL may add, remove, replace, purchase, sell, retire, or otherwise modify its inventory before or after launch.

Specific designers, products, sizes, colors, categories, rental dates, and quantities are not guaranteed.

Participation in the Keyholder Program does not reserve or guarantee access to any specific item.

All rentals remain subject to availability at the time a reservation is made.

Product rental prices displayed during the preview period may change before COVABL begins accepting rental bookings.

COVABL may adjust future rental prices, rental periods, delivery options, service areas, inventory, or other aspects of the service.

Any rental transaction will be charged according to the price and terms presented to the customer at the time the rental is booked.

The dollar value of an existing Keyholder credit balance will not be reduced merely because COVABL changes its rental pricing.

Keyholder status does not replace or waive COVABL’s standard rental rules.

Every rental remains subject to COVABL’s then-current Rental Terms, including policies concerning returns, late returns, cleaning, damage, loss, theft, payment authorization, verification, cancellations, extensions, and replacement charges.

Being a Keyholder does not provide immunity from charges arising from damage, loss, late return, non-return, fraud, or other violations of COVABL’s Rental Terms.

COVABL may collect sizing information, fit preferences, style preferences, typical occasions, shipping information, and other profile information to improve recommendations and the COVABL experience.

Recommendations are advisory only.

COVABL does not guarantee that any particular item will fit a customer, even when sizing recommendations, measurements, stylist recommendations, or other fit information are provided.

COVABL is an early-stage service and launch plans may change.

Dates, inventory, service areas, fulfillment methods, features, and other launch details communicated before launch are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed.

However, if COVABL permanently cancels the Keyholder Program before Keyholders are able to begin using their credit, COVABL will refund the original $250 Keyholder payment and cancel the associated unused Keyholder credit.

If COVABL has not begun accepting rental bookings from Keyholders by March 31, 2027, a Keyholder may request cancellation of their Keyholder participation and reimbursement of the original $250 payment, provided that no Keyholder credit has previously been used.

Upon such reimbursement, the entire $300 Keyholder credit balance and Keyholder status associated with that purchase will be cancelled.

Because the Keyholder Program is limited to 100 spots and Keyholder commitments may be used by COVABL to plan inventory and launch operations, Keyholder purchases are otherwise final and non-refundable once completed, except as expressly provided in these Terms or required by applicable law.

A payment reversal, chargeback, fraudulent payment, or other invalidation of the original Keyholder payment may result in cancellation of Keyholder status and any corresponding credit, subject to applicable law.

Keyholders must provide accurate account and contact information and keep that information reasonably current.

Keyholders are responsible for maintaining the security of their COVABL account.

COVABL may require identity, payment, shipping-address, or other verification before permitting certain rentals, particularly for high-value items.

COVABL may suspend a Keyholder account or access to the service when COVABL reasonably believes the account has been involved in fraud, payment abuse, chargebacks, theft, intentional damage, counterfeit substitution, unauthorized resale, repeated non-return of merchandise, or other material violations of COVABL’s policies.

Any treatment of remaining purchased credit following suspension or termination will comply with applicable law.

COVABL may modify the operation of the Keyholder Program as the business evolves.

COVABL may change or discontinue future Keyholder events, early-access periods, communications, experiential benefits, promotional benefits, or similar program features.

COVABL will not retroactively reduce the dollar amount of a Keyholder’s legitimately issued and unused Keyholder credit solely because the program changes.

Keyholders may receive transactional communications relating to their Keyholder account, credit, reservations, payments, deliveries, returns, and other services.

Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and COVABL’s communications preferences and Privacy Policy.

Information collected through the Keyholder Program will be handled in accordance with COVABL’s Privacy Policy.

Profile information may be used to personalize recommendations, merchandising, inventory planning, service offerings, and the customer’s COVABL experience as described in that policy.

These Keyholder Terms govern the Keyholder Program specifically.

Use of the COVABL website and account is also subject to COVABL’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Individual rentals are subject to the COVABL Rental Agreement presented and accepted in connection with the applicable rental. Becoming a Keyholder does not constitute acceptance of the Rental Agreement.

If there is a conflict between these Keyholder Terms and a more specific term presented to the customer in connection with an individual rental, the terms applicable to that rental will govern the rental transaction.

By completing a Keyholder purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to these COVABL Keyholder Terms & Conditions.

How much does Keyholder cost?

Becoming a COVABL Keyholder is a one-time $250 purchase.

What do I get?

You’ll receive $300 in COVABL credit to use toward eligible rentals when COVABL opens for booking, plus early access to the COVABL experience and other Keyholder perks we may offer.

Is Keyholder a membership?

No. There is no monthly membership fee or recurring Keyholder charge.

Does my $300 credit expire?

No. Your Keyholder credit stays in your account until you use it.

Do I have to use all $300 at once?

No. Your credit can be used across multiple eligible rentals until your balance is depleted.

Can I use the credit on anything?

The credit is intended for eligible COVABL rental charges. Taxes, delivery or courier surcharges, late fees, damages, loss charges, authorization holds, deposits, gift cards and similar non-rental charges may be excluded.

Are the products I see now guaranteed to be available?

No. The Keyholder closet is a preview of the assortment COVABL is building. Products, designers, sizes and availability may change before launch.

Does becoming a Keyholder reserve a specific product?

No. Individual rentals will still be subject to availability when booking opens.

Is my $250 an investment in COVABL?

No. A Keyholder purchase does not provide equity, ownership, securities, voting rights, profits or any other financial interest in COVABL.

Can I transfer my Keyholder status?

Keyholder status and credit are tied to the purchaser’s COVABL account and are not intended for resale or transfer.
